Famously known as the lord curzon’s trail after the viceroy of India in 1905, the trek today follows the trail blazed by Lord Curzon himself. Kuari pass situated in the Chamoli district in Garhwal, Uttarakhand stands at an altitude of 3,650m and offers great lined up views of the Himalayan ranges. The 270degree views includes peaks of Chaukhmaba, Kamet, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Hathi Parbat, Ghori parbat, Barmal, Nandadevi, Changabang, Dunagiri and Bithartoli. The six day trek passes through villages, forest trails of oaks, Deodhar, Rhododendron, and fir forests. The trails that is made of ridges and traverse paths moves through streams and waterfalls along alpine meadows and offers great nature play of colours and clouds.
